About Lion’s Mane Ministry  

Lion’s Mane is the creative storytelling arm of GospelTV, a dual-market Christian broadcaster operating in Canada and Nigeria. We produce symbolic, faith-driven media that blends ancient truth with modern technology—reaching hearts through animation, short films, and immersive experiences. Our mission is to awaken spiritual imagination and communicate the Gospel with artistic and technical excellence.

Role Overview  

We are seeking a Creative Technologist / AI Animation Director to lead the development of symbolic, AI-assisted animated content from concept to delivery. This role blends creative direction, prompt engineering, and AI tool orchestration to bring GospelTV’s visual storytelling to life—efficiently, faithfully, and beautifully.

You will be the bridge between vision and execution, working closely with our executive producer, faith content leads, and outsourced animation vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction

• Translate theological themes and symbolic concepts into compelling visual narratives  
• Develop scripts, storyboards, and animatics for short-form animation  
• Maintain visual and tonal consistency across projects  

AI Tool Integration

• Select and orchestrate AI tools (e.g., Reelmind, Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs) for design, animation, and voice  
• Craft and refine prompts for image generation, motion, and dialogue  
• Oversee AI-generated outputs for quality, symbolism, and brand alignment  

Production Oversight

• Collaborate with outsourced animators, editors, and voice artists  
• Manage creative briefs, feedback loops, and delivery timelines  
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and broadcast readiness  

Asset & Workflow Management

• Build and maintain a visual reference library and prompt database  
• Document workflows and best practices for scalable production  
• Contribute to the development of Lion’s Mane’s creative pipeline and style guide  

Qualifications

• 3+ years in animation, creative technology, or digital storytelling (faith-based or symbolic work a plus)  
• Proficiency with AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Reelmind, or similar)  
• Strong visual storytelling and scriptwriting skills  
• Experience directing or producing short-form media  
• Familiarity with Christian theology, symbolism, and cross-cultural communication  
• Experience with animation pipelines, motion graphics, or post-production
