Position Description

GreenValley Counselling Services is a faith-based psychotherapy center located in Brantford, Cambridge, Kitchener, and Burlington. We are committed to providing compassionate and professional counselling and psychotherapy services to children, individuals, couples and families. We work with a diverse population group and a wide variety of issues.

We are looking for a couple and individual psychotherapist for our Branford office. Associates work as contractors within our group, giving them the flexibility of private practice without having to manage the business side of practice.

  • Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
  • Pay: $68.00-$102.00 per hour
  • Benefits: Free weekly clinical supervision, full admin support, on-site parking
  • Education: Master's Degree (required)

Core Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must possess a graduate degree in psychotherapy or its equivalent.
  • Ability and willingness to work with a culturally and spiritually diverse client base.
  • Training and experience working with Couples
  • Additional training and experience in Trauma
  • Registration with a Regulatory College, such as CRPO, with full Registration or Qualifying Status, and valid professional liability insurance.
  • Committed to the ongoing process of continuing education.
  • 5 years’ experience preferred but not required.

Additional Assets:

  • Ability to integrate Bible teaching with counselling and psychotherapy when requested.
  • Ability to pray with clients who request this.
  • A solid understanding of the impact of spiritual abuse and a sensitivity to power dynamics and the integration of Christianity and psychotherapy.
