Position Description

We’re looking for an experienced live-sound technician to support Sunday church services in a rented downtown theatre environment. Ideal for freelancers seeking consistent, low-stress weekend gigs.

• Position: Audio / Sound Technician (Sunday Gig)
• Location: Every Nation Church GTA – Downtown Toronto
• When: 2–3 Sundays per month, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Where: Innis Town Hall, University of Toronto
• Pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

• Set up and tear down audio system
• Mix live sound during worship services
• Integrate church-owned gear with venue system • Work alongside volunteers and venue staff

Tech Setup

• Allen & Heath GLD80 digital console
• Venue-provided PA (amps & speakers)
• Wireless/wired mics, electronic drums, guitars • Dante audio networking (required)

You’re a Good Fit If You

• Have live-sound experience (church, theatre, or events) • Are comfortable with Dante and digital consoles
• Enjoy collaborative, team-based environments
• Are reliable and calm under pressure
