Position Description

Interested in making a lasting impact in the lives of some kids? This is a 35 hour/week, Monday - Friday position lasting from June 1 - August 19, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for the whole enchilada! (That's preparation, organization and management of all aspects of a 4 week Summer Day Camp program).

You'll be planning and coordinating a four-week Day Camp program to run in July and August. You'll serve as Day Camp Senior Director with a focus on preparing and implementing a Day Camp program including all the aspects of providing a safe and excellent children's camp experience for our Junior Campers (4-6 years) and our Kids Campers (7-12 years). You'll care for the needs of the kids and their parents, as well as organize the involvement of youth and adult volunteers throughout the program. 

You'll also manage a team of 8 paid counsellors who will be the primary care givers to the children: leading, team building, scheduling, ensuring quality programming, training and supporting. This includes creating and implementing an evaluation and feedback process for the team. 

We need you to bring your faith - we're looking for someone who is a follower of Jesus whose life reflects the teaching, values and love of Jesus for all people. You'll need maturity, experience, skills and commitment to ensure success. AND - you'll need a sense of humour because we're into fun around here.
