About the Receipting Coordinator Role
Reporting to the Manager of Receipting, the Receipting Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring accurate processing of donations and financial records. This role supports both the Receipting and Accounting teams by processing donations, responding to donor inquiries, and assisting with daily administrative and financial tasks.
This position requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to excellent donor service.
Specifically, in this role you’d be responsible for:
- Processing various types of donations and income including online donations, cheques, credit cards, wire transfers, e-transfers, and direct deposits
- Managing the daily upload of recurring credit card donations
- Processing call-in donations
- Monitoring and receipting direct deposit donations
- Scanning and processing cheques for bank deposits
- Supporting donor care through phone and email inquiries, including updating credit card information
- Responding to inquiries from PAOC ministry teams and affiliated entities
- Managing the donation email inbox
- Collecting, opening, sorting, scanning, and distributing incoming mail
- Supporting the Receipting and Accounting teams with additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- 2–4 years of clerical, administrative, or accounting experience
- Experience in receipting or accounting in a charitable environment considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Business Central
- A collaborative team mindset with initiative and ownership
- Ability to work onsite in Mississauga
- Knowledge of French is considered an asset.

Working Details: This is a contract, full-time (40 hours per week), non-unionized, hybrid position available immediately to cover a maternity leave. The contract is expected to last up to 18 months, with the possibility of permanent employment upon completion depending on organizational needs. The role requires two days per week in the Mississauga office, with the remaining days worked remotely.
Salary Details & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $57,500 annually, depending on experience. PAOC also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
