Position Summary:

We seek a full-time Pastor of Children and Families to oversee all aspects of ministry to all ages from birth to Grade 5 and provide vision and oversight to lead a Christ-centred and integrated ministry that both disciples children and young families and also reaches out into our neighbourhood community.

Job Title: Pastor of Children and Families

Reports to:  Lead Pastor

Classification: Full-time employment; 40 hours per week; probationary period required

Remuneration:  Commensurate with experience and education. Wages established by Leadership Team and reviewed annually

• HomeBase (weekly ministry to children from Grades 1 to 5)
• BaseCamp (4 weeks of day camp for children from Grades 1-5)
• Weekly programs for youth (Jr High and Highschool)
• ESL (9 different classes weekly for people new to Canada who want to improve English language skills)
• Storehouse (clothing and kitchen supplies for people in need)
• We make room in our building for a private school and a daycare (not run by LRC)
• We are active in supporting ministry to university students in our region
• We deeply desire to meet needs of people and introduce them to life as followers of Jesus

• Are you committed to working as a key member of an effective staff team?
• Are you able to build and lead a team of volunteers of all ages who love and want to lead children
