Position Description
Located in London, Ontario, this opportunity is with one of the largest and most respected Christian charities in Canada. They have good work/personal life balance. Their working culture is highly rated and they provide comprehensive benefits along with an excellent retirement plan. It’s an in-office position, however, if the most suitable candidate has a long commute, a hybrid working arrangement can be arranged. All candidates must live within a one hour drive of London. Salary range is $60-70K.
This is a hands-on role overseeing a data entry team of 3-4 people and reporting to the Director of Finance. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the Income Processing team in handling the processing of all donations. This includes the recording of all donations, receipting, acknowledgment, reconciliation, and compliance with relevant CRA rules. (They’re willing to teach the CRA rules to someone with otherwise relevant experience.)
- Management of the team, including establishing clear goals, performance standards, and performance indicators for each team member.
- Drive transformation and continuous improvement by leading automation and workflow redesign initiatives.
- Represent the team in cross-functional and leadership meetings.
Candidates must have relevant experience in a supervisory/management capacity, basic to intermediate excel, high attention to detail, an aptitude for process improvement, an aptitude for working with computer systems, and the ability to whole heartedly agree with the organization’s faith statement. Experience in a charity and knowledge of the relevant CRA regulations is a significant asset as is experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
