Position Description

Hallelujah Chinese Evangelical Free Church is a Cantonese-speaking church family with approximately 150 active congregants in Scarborough, Ontario. We are passionate about sharing the Gospel, committed to growing together, and ready to walk with our pastor. We are seeking a warm, Christ-centred spiritual leader who loves God’s Word, loves people, and is devoted to serving. If you have a passion for preaching, mentoring, and leading together with a committed team, we would love to hear from you.

• Loves Jesus deeply and models God’s grace, integrity, and a genuine heart for the local church.
• Defend and promote The Evangelical Free Church of Canada beliefs and ethics, with solid theological training (M.Div or above) and extensive pastoral ministry experience, 10 or more years preferred.
• Comfortable ministering in Cantonese, and able to read and write Chinese and English in a multicultural Toronto context.
• Passionate expositional preacher who enjoys helping people grow in God’s Word.
• Invests in people - mentoring, equipping, and releasing lay leaders into ministry.
• Thinks strategically, works well with teams, and enjoys turning vision into practical ministry steps.
• Friendly, approachable, and a team builder who brings encouragement and unity to the church family.

• 深愛主耶穌，在生命中彰顯神的恩典，有誠信，對發展地方教會有負擔。
• 維護及推廣加拿大播道會的信仰與倫理立場，具備紥實的神學訓練（道學碩士或以上）及豐富牧會經驗，具十年以上經驗更佳。
• 能在多倫多的多元文化環境中以粵語服事，並具備中英文讀寫能力。
• 熱衷釋經講道，樂於藉神話語幫助他人靈命成長。
• 重視建立生命 – 樂於栽培、裝備及差派信徒領袖投入事奉。
• 具備策略思維，善於與各團隊配搭事奉，並樂於將異象轉化為具體可行的事工方案。
• 友善、平易近人，善於團隊建立，為教會帶來激勵與合一。
