Position Description

A small Christian Montessori school is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and faith-filled Casa Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.

  • Start Date: Week of August 25, 2026
  • Salary: $40,000-$42,000 per year

Position Overview

The successful candidate will provide a nurturing, Christ-centered Montessori learning environment for children in the Casa classroom. We are seeking an educator who is passionate about Montessori education, committed to academic excellence, and eager to support the spiritual, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of young learners.

Qualifications

  • Montessori Casa certification (AMI, MACTE, AMS, or equivalent)
  • Approximately 4–5 years of Montessori teaching experience preferred
  • Committed Christian who is able to support and teach the school's Christian values and beliefs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Screening (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Montessori lessons in all five areas of the Casa classroom:
    • Practical Life
    • Sensorial
    • Language
    • Mathematics
    • Cultural Studies
  • Maintain a prepared Montessori environment that encourages independence and a love of learning
  • Observe, assess, and document student progress
  • Prepare report cards and communicate student development with parents
  • Conduct ongoing individual student observations and maintain accurate records
  • Integrate Biblical teachings and Christian values into daily classroom activities
  • Lead age-appropriate Bible lessons, prayer, and character development activities
  • Assist with student performances, special events, and school programs throughout the year
  • Supervise students during outdoor duty and other assigned supervision periods
  • Work collaboratively with staff, administration, and families to support student success
