Position Description

We are seeking volunteer Guitarists, Bassists, Keyboardists, and Drummers who are passionate about worship and committed to serving the local church. This role is ideal for musicians who desire to use their gifts to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God.

• Location: Mountain Springs Church – Hamilton, Ontario
• Position Type: Volunteer Position | Serve at Least Twice Per Month

Our worship style is contemporary and passionate, drawing inspiration from artists and ministries such as Elevation Worship, Bethel Music, and Maverick City Music.

As a growing church, we are intentionally building our bench strength and worship team depth, creating opportunities for musicians to serve regularly while maintaining a healthy ministry-life balance.

Musical Skills

We are looking for individuals who are proficient in one or more of the following:

• Electric or Acoustic Guitar
• Bass Guitar
• Keyboard/Piano
• Drums

Successful candidates will:

• Be comfortable playing contemporary worship music.
• Be able to learn songs and arrangements in advance.
• Follow chord charts, arrangements, click tracks, or musical direction where required.
• Demonstrate musical excellence while remaining flexible and team-oriented.
• Have previous church, band, or live performance experience (an asset but not required).
