We are committed to raising the next generation to become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and intentional discipleship. We seek to partner with parents in nurturing students to know Christ, grow in their faith, and become faithful witnesses in their schools, homes, and communities.

  2. Design, implement, and lead biblically grounded, culturally relevant, and engaging ministries that foster spiritual growth, discipleship, leadership development, and evangelism among youth.
  3. Develop a comprehensive discipleship strategy that equips students to follow Jesus faithfully during adolescence and prepares them for the transition into Young Adult Ministry.
  4. Preach and teach God's Word through youth worship services, Bible studies, small groups, retreats, camps, mission opportunities, and special events.
  5. Recruit, train, equip, mentor, and disciple volunteer youth leaders and student leaders.
  6. Build intentional mentoring relationships with youth and provide pastoral care, counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance to students and their families.
  7. Develop and lead parent engagement initiatives that equip parents to disciple and support their teenagers through the challenges of adolescence.
  8. Work collaboratively with the Children's Pastor to ensure a healthy transition from Children's Ministry into Youth Ministry, and with the Young Adults Ministry to facilitate the transition into adulthood.
  9. Partner with Markham Wesley Centre, local schools, and community organizations to build meaningful outreach opportunities for youth and their families.
  10. Collaborate with the pastoral staff in planning and executing church-wide ministries, outreach events, and intergenerational initiatives.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
