Company Overview

The Camrose Pregnancy Care Centre (CPCC) is a newly formed Alberta non-profit incorporated enterprise based in Camrose, Alberta. The CPCC is affiliated with Pregnancy Care Canada, a best practice company with over 80 branches across Alberta and Canada. We are a Christ-centred organization dedicated to affirming the value of every life through resources, education, and support to compassionately serve those challenged by an unexpected pregnancy. We believe every woman is capable of making her own well-informed pregnancy decision, and we want to empower her to do so. We believe every person is worthy of respect and care, regardless of their lifestyle, faith background, or pregnancy decision. We believe healing is possible in all situations.

Position Overview

We are looking for a permanent, part time Executive Director to move our vision forward and open an office space in Camrose to serve clients.

The Executive Director (E.D.) will have full responsibility for the overall day to day operations of the Camrose Pregnancy Care Centre to effectively carry out our mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the E.D. acts as the public face for the Centre, ensuring a high level of care for clients, recruiting and developing Centre personnel to their full potential through spiritual leadership. The E.D. will foster a professional work environment that represents our organizations high standards.

This position is ministry driven and is suited to an individual who is committed to making a positive contribution to the citizens of Camrose and surrounding communities.

Pregnancy Care Canada will provide a broad range of training for the successful candidate.

This position is compliant with the Alberta Employment Standards and Federal Bona Fide Occupational Requirement Act.

Qualifications

  • Expresses full agreement with the Centre’s Mission, Sanctity of Life and Core Value Statements.
  • Expresses full agreement with the Centre’s Code of Ethics and the Professional Conduct & Lifestyle Standards policy.
  • Demonstrate the competence in fundraising and promote donor growth.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as health care, social work, business administration, community development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in public speaking is a strong asset.
  • This position will be subject to a Vulnerable Sector Criminal police background check.
