Charlotte County Christian Academy (CCCA) is seeking a passionate, relational, and visionary Christian educational leader to serve as its next Principal.
Located in beautiful Charlotte County, New Brunswick, CCCA is a growing independent Christian school serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, with additional preschool and after-school programming.
This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who believes deeply in the transformational potential of Christian education, and desires to help lead a school into its next season of growth and development.

As CCCA continues to grow and develop, we are looking for a Principal who can help strengthen what already makes the school special while providing leadership for the opportunities ahead.

The Opportunity

The Principal serves as the educational and organizational leader of CCCA and works collaboratively with the Board, faculty, staff, students, parents and wider Christian community. The Principal will work to carry out the current Strategic Plan and contribute to its ongoing formation and execution. The successful candidate will provide leadership in five key areas:

1. Spiritual Leadership

The Principal will be a visible Christian leader who:

• Demonstrates a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus.
• Models Christ-like character, humility, integrity and servant leadership.
• Helps ensure that biblical worldview and Christian discipleship remain central to the culture and educational program of CCCA.
• Encourages the spiritual growth of students and staff.
• Builds healthy relationships with churches and Christian leaders throughout the region.

2. Educational Leadership

The Principal will:

• Champion high-quality teaching and learning across Kindergarten through Grade 12.
• Support, encourage, coach and hold faculty accountable for excellence.
• Provide leadership in curriculum development, assessment and instructional improvement.
• Encourage innovation while maintaining strong academic standards.
• Help CCCA continue preparing students for post-secondary education, careers, Christian service and life.

3. People & Culture

We are looking for a Principal who genuinely enjoys people.
The Principal will:

• Build a healthy, positive and Christ-centred staff culture.
• Recruit, develop and retain excellent Christian educators.
• Be visible and approachable to students, parents and staff.
• Communicate clearly and consistently.
• Address difficult issues with wisdom, courage, grace and appropriate accountability.
• Develop leaders and create a strong, collaborative administrative and faculty team.

4. Strategic Leadership

The next Principal will have an important opportunity to help shape the future of CCCA, via a Strategic Plan.
Working closely with the Board and school leadership, the Principal will:

• Help implement, further develop and execute the strategic direction of the school.
• Plan proactively for enrollment growth, staffing, programming and facilities.
• Strengthen systems and organizational structures as CCCA grows.
• Identify opportunities to expand and enhance academic, co-curricular and student programming.
• Bring both strategic thinking and practical execution to school leadership.

5. Community & Enrollment Leadership

The Principal will be one of CCCA's most important ambassadors.
The Principal will:

• Build strong relationships with current families.
• Help tell the story of CCCA throughout Charlotte County and beyond.
• Support student recruitment, retention and enrollment growth.
• Develop relationships with prospective families, churches, community organizations and supporters.
• Help build a strong culture of school pride and community engagement.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent educational preparation.
• Any teaching certification or equivalent.
• Successful experience in education.
• Previous leadership and/or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching or developing people.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A clear understanding of Christian education and biblical worldview integration.

A graduate degree in education, leadership or a related field would be considered an asset, as would previous leadership experience within an independent or Christian school.
Most importantly, CCCA is looking for the right leader — someone whose calling, character, leadership ability and philosophy of Christian education align strongly with the mission and future direction of the school.

CCCA is located in Pennfield, in beautiful Charlotte County, New Brunswick — approximately 30 minutes from the St. Stephen/Calais border and 45 minutes from Saint John.
