Position Description
Location: 940 Elmhurst Road, Winnipeg, MB
Department: Programming, Care, Life Groups, Missions
Job Type: 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
This Programming Admin Coordinator contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the the Programming, and Communications staff. This position will work regularly with sensitive and/or confidential information.
Primary Duties (including but not limited to):
Administration
- Maintain and update the communications calendar
- Review and organize the weekly task list across team
- Draft Sunday AM host notes for review
- Prep resources and instructions for service volunteers
- Update Service L3 text and confirm Top 3 announcement population
- Log CCLI song usage after each service
- Digital & Web
- Perform a weekly website audit — links, event listings, QR codes,graphics, data entry
- Perform content updates for digital platforms through back-end
- Conduct a full website and QR code check before doors open
- Social Media
- Manage day-to-day operations on social channels: scheduled posting,managing notifications, responding to messages
- Research for content planning
- Coordinate deadlines across teams
- Assist with content capture
Sundays
- Archive service content (photos, graphics, video) in organized folders after each Sunday
- Build and maintain a categorized library of content ideas by medium
- (social formats, announcement styles, etc.)
- Assist with printing, proofreading, prop gathering, and general production support
Writing & Communications
- Provide general wordsmithing support — announcement copy, social captions, and other short-form text
- Build and maintain a library of teaching and communications content
- Monitor upcoming events and confirm that planning is happening on schedule
- Purchase and prep supplies for Sundays and special events (Mother's Day, Father's Day, seasonal Sundays, etc.)
- Stock the green room with standard supplies (candy, Halls, tea, honey, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience valued:
- Excellent time management and oral/written communication skills
- Broad technical proficiency,
- Ability to prioritize and pivot on projects
- Servant hearted, inviting and encouraging of others, always asking “How can I help you?”
- Optimistic, not prone to gossip
- Church volunteer experience
