Children’s Pastor

Celebration Church  |  Regina, Saskatchewan  |  Permanent, part-time (30 hrs/week)

Help the next generation fall in love with Jesus.

Celebration Church is a group of ordinary people from different generations, denominations and cultural backgrounds, united around one goal: to behold Jesus and become more like Him. We encounter Him through the Holy Spirit, Scripture and the Sacraments, and we are looking for a Children’s Pastor to lead Kingdom Kids, our ministry to children from birth to Grade 5 and their families.

What you’ll do

• Set the vision for our Children’s Ministry and lead creative, biblically rooted Sunday encounters.
• Recruit, equip and encourage a team of volunteers to serve our children.
• Partner with parents to help children grow in faith at home.
• Keep children safe through our check-in procedures and Protection Plan.
• Lead family and community events, including cross-generational Family Sundays.
• Raise up Kingdom Kids alongside the Lead Pastor and a collaborative staff team.

What we’re looking for

• An active, growing relationship with Jesus, and a passion for ministry to children and families.
• A degree in child, youth and/or family ministry (or similar), plus experience leading children’s or youth programs.
• A proven ability to recruit, equip and inspire volunteers.
• Excellent communication skills, creativity, and a self-directed, humble, teachable spirit.
• Agreement with our Statement of Belief (www.redroof.tv/about/believe), a successful vulnerable sector police check and willingness to sign our Code of Conduct and our Covenant of Honour.

• Crossover with our current Children’s Pastor to make a smooth transition..
• Compensation: $18-22/hr (depending on experience and education).
